Chorionic gonadotropin or HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is a glycoprotein that exists in injectable form. This molecule is found naturally in the urine of pregnant women. Chorionic gonadotropin is medically used as a fertilizer in women (helps ovulation) and in very young children (helps the testicles descend). Athletes became interested in it from the moment they noticed that it was a hormonal stimulant that could be very useful after a cycle of anabolic steroids.

HCG is not an anabolic steroid but a complementary hormone that bodybuilders use steroids at the end of a cycle to avoid side effects on the metabolism. Indeed, anabolic steroids have the unfortunate consequence of resting the testicles during the cycle. This means that, since these steroids are androgenic, they replace the action of testosterone, which ceases to be produced naturally in the testes. This phenomenon usually appears in cases of a cycle that lasts more than 4 or 5 weeks. At the end of the cycle, the endogenous testosterone level has thus become dangerously low. It is therefore urgent to bring this rate back to normal very quickly because after suddenly stopping the steroid cycle, no product is there to play the role of testosterone. This can lead to rapid loss of the mass acquired during the cycle and severe dehydration.

This is where chorionic gonadotropin comes in. This has the effect of boosting the natural production of testosterone in the testicles.. HCG thus replaces the luteinizing hormone also called LH, which is normally responsible for triggering this production of testosterone, but which has been lacking since the steroid cycle. On the other hand, while HCG increases the production of endogenous testosterone, it unfortunately also increases the level of estrogen in the human body. Gynecomastia is therefore possible with this product. In order to avoid this problem, users usually combine HCG in a stack (mix) with an anti-estrogen such as Nolvadex. This hormone always comes in 2 separate ampoules. One contains powdered HCG and the other a sterilized solvent. These 2 ampoules must of course be mixed to prepare the substance to be injected. The mixture should be stored in the refrigerator. Imitations of these products frequently cause pain and fever as they are more often made in an unsterilized environment. The doses vary between 2500 and 5000ui per week. HCG is usually injected once a week for 2 weeks, which in most cases is enough to restore normal testosterone levels.

Dosage: Take between 3000 - 5000 IU once a week for 2 to 3 weeks

Note: If during a cycle with strong anabolic androgens you feel testicular atrophy, you can take gonadotropoin every 2 days also at a rate of 250 to 500 IU
