Description
En raison de sa longue demi-vie, l’undécanoate de testostérone (TU) peut être utilisé de manière pratique dans le cadre d’un traitement hormonal substitutif (THS). La fréquence des injections de testostérone peut être réduite à une fois tous les 2 à 3 mois lorsque l’on utilise le TU dans le cadre d’un THS ! Les culturistes et autres athlètes peuvent utiliser le TU comme base pour des cycles très longs (« éternels »), ce qui permet de réduire la fréquence des injections tout en maintenant un équilibre hormonal stable. Dans le cycle « éternel », la fréquence des injections peut être de toutes les 2 à 6 semaines. Une seule administration de 1 000 mg de TU permettra d’établir une base de testostérone de trois mois à un niveau physiologiquement normal. De même, une dose de 1 500 à 2 500 mg de TU par mois convient pour un cycle éternel.
