Description
Modafinil reduces extreme sleepiness due to narcolepsy and sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea. It is also used to stay awake during work hours when you have a work schedule that prevents you from having a normal sleep routine. However, this medication does not cure sleep disorders or permanently resolve sleepiness problems.
Used to stay awake, to focus better and to work better, Modafinil 100 mg has also been shown to be a very effective cognitive enhancer that improves decision-making. It acts on certain chemicals in the brain that control the sleep/wake cycle and this drug has been shown to improve wakefulness, attention span and alertness.
Regarding the dosage, it is 200 to 400 mg per day in a single dose in the morning or in 2 divided doses.
