Originally started from a small scale pharmaceutical factory in 1981, BIOLAB is now one of Thailand's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Due to the rapidly growing demand, an investment of more than 10 million dollars in the expansion of their production center to 3 times larger than its original size. It is now a 3-story factory building comprising 24,000 square meters, fully equipped from A to Z, including imported world-class advanced production lines as well as a quality control laboratory.
Driven by a strong desire to continuously develop their products and the quality of these, Biolab has become the first company in ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to obtain ISO 9001 certification for systems quality management since 1999 and most recently the ISO 9001 standard in 2008.
Furthermore, Biolab is the first pharmaceutical manufacturer in Thailand to have complied with PIC/S GMP standards (recognized by HSA Singapore, since 2009), an internationally recognized standard for drug manufacturers. Recently, another most honorable award for their excellent work ethic and high standards came to enlarge Biolab's trophy showcase with the "Quality Award" from the Thai Food and Drug Administration for two consecutive years, 2009 and 2011.
In just about 10 years, Biolab has been able to create a reputation and gain the trust of their collaborators around the world such as Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines. Biolab is currently busy expanding their customer base from Southeast Asia to other countries around the world such as Germany, Australia and South Africa.
