Information about Dianabol

Dianabol or D-bol is composed of methandienone, which is a 17-alpha-alkylated steroid. After oxymetholone, Dianabol is considered the most powerful orally administered anabolic steroid.

Dianabol was a widely used steroid in the 1970s due to its very strong and immediate anabolic effects: spectacular increase in strength and mass. Most bodybuilders who have used it attest to a weight gain of 6 to 8 kg in one month. Dianabol is undoubtedly responsible for the physique of the ultimate bodybuilding icon: Arnold Schwarzenegger. He often combined it with Primobolan Depot. Dianabol is an anabolic steroid comparable to oxymetholone (Anadrol), though less harsh, meaning its desired and side effects are less pronounced. However, this distinction is largely irrelevant since the effects of a steroid depend heavily on the dosage. Therefore, a Dianabol cycle at high doses will produce as many, if not more, desired and side effects than an oxymetholone cycle. Dianabol produces significant gains in mass and strength through muscle cell enlargement, but also largely due to sodium and water retention. As with oxymetholone, the resulting musculature is thus somewhat smooth and rounded. After the loss of excess water, approximately 50% of good quality, dense, and permanently acquired muscle mass will remain. Regarding the mechanism of action of Dianabol, it is identical to that of Oxymetholone and Deca: Dianabol increases the body's nitrogen levels. Since nitrogen is an essential component of protein, protein synthesis increases accordingly, resulting in muscle gain. It is said to create a positive nitrogen balance.
