Information about Clomid

Clomid is composed of clomiphene citrate taken orally. Clomiphene citrate is not an anabolic steroid but a synthetic estrogen hormone used in bodybuilding for the purpose of combating a number of hormonal imbalances caused by taking anabolic steroids. Clomid allows the normal testosterone levels to be restored after the treatment and prevents the estrogen present in the body from acting, thus avoiding the effects associated with it, including in particular gynecomastia.

Clomid is primarily a fertility drug created to stimulate ovulation in women who have difficulty conceiving. This molecule also has the property of stimulating the production of endogenous testosterone in men within the testicles, This is achieved by increasing the secretion of LH and FSH hormones. It is this latter property that interests bodybuilders, as they experience hormonal imbalances when using steroids, especially when these steroids are highly androgenic. Many androgens, particularly the strongest ones like Oxymetholone, have the unfortunate consequence of causing a drop in the body's natural testosterone production for the entire duration of the steroid cycle. This is easily explained by considering that the intake of external androgens makes the body's testosterone production unnecessary, since these androgens produce the same effect as testosterone. The body therefore reacts by stopping testosterone production, as it is no longer needed during the cycle. The problem is that after the cycle ends, the metabolism does not immediately restart this dangerously low testosterone production. It is therefore crucial to stimulate testosterone production to avoid a serious metabolic disruption resulting in catastrophic weight and strength loss. This is why bodybuilders use Clomid, which triggers the production of endogenous testosterone in the testicles, thus preventing such a disruption. Athletes report that a daily dose of 50 to 100 mg of Clomid restores normal testosterone levels within two weeks. However, before starting Clomid treatment, bodybuilders typically use Vitagon HCG, which also increases endogenous testosterone production but acts much more rapidly. Vitagon HCG is used first to raise testosterone levels immediately after the end of a cycle, and then treatment is continued more consistently with Clomid.

At the end of the cycle, There is often a risk of gynecomastia due to the conversion of steroids into estrogen, because these substances, despite their very different effects, have very similar chemical formulas. By occupying estrogen receptor cells instead of estrogen itself, Clomid prevents the estrogen present in the body from acting and thus avoids its associated effects, including gynecomastia.

Clomid is a non-toxic product with no known side effects. Bodybuilders very rarely experience adverse effects from Clomid, except in very rare cases for occasional flashes of light or some visual disturbances. However, it is not recommended to use Clomid for more than two weeks, and if the aforementioned visual disturbances occur, it is best to stop treatment immediately.
